During Mitchell's performance, Hynde allegedly shouted "I love you, I love you" at the stage.She reportedly kept yelling and generally being noisy throughout Mitchell's set, irritating Simon enough for her to ask Hynde to be quiet. Hynde allegedly responded by grabbing Simon around the neck, wrestled her to the ground and punched her twice.
According to the Net report, when Hynde's American publicist was asked about the incident, she claimed: "Yeah, she grabbed her around the neck, but she was just hugging her."
