PRETENDERS STAR HELPS
ANIMAL LOVERS MIGRATE
Akron native Chrissie Hynde says Virginia is for animal lovers. The lead singer of The Pretenders helped christen the new headquarters of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. "They say Virginia is for lovers. We say Virginia is for animal lovers," Hynde said. The nonprofit group is moving from Rockville, Md., a Washington suburb, to Richmond.
